As of yesterday, I am offiicially a college graduate! It was an amazing experience and I was surrounded by the support of my family, friends and wonderful husband. He has supported me through my entire college career and is more supportive of my future plans of graduate school and chasing that midwifery degree! So thank you to everyone for your support (and that includes my clients who believe in me!) I could not have done this without you! Please keep your eyes out for upcoming posts. Now that I have a little break before I begin classes again, I will update you on the thoughts from my births I have had this past couple months, as well as edcuation! Happy Holidays to you all!

How did I find myself in the doula profession?
-Well, I have always been fascinated with women, nutrition and birth. I met with a mentor of mine at school about a year ago and told her about what I wanted to do with my life and how much I wanted to help women. She recommended that I look into becoming a doula. After much research and attending birth conferences, I decided to go through the training. After aiding in the delivery of my nephew, Ezra, my passion for empowering women during their pregnancy and the delivery of their child was found. I realized that by being a doula, I can help women on a very personal level, and develop relationships that can last a lifetime.
